The Reepak is a new type of packaging that can be used for all disc formats
such as CD-Audio, CD-ROM or DVD. It is a high quality product developed by Sony,
and made from 100% recyclable paper and cardboard. It offers the advantages of
being both lighter and smaller than plastic packaging like Jewel Cases, as well as more stable and durable than
Card or Paper Sleeves.
It is extremely lightweight (approximately 40 g) and has a size of 14 x 12.5 x 0.5 cm. These features make the Reepak easy and economic to transport, store and display in retail shops.
The Reepak`s special disc holder is made of cardboard and ensures that they are safely fixed in place and yet
easy to remove and replace. Its also possible to print on the Reepak.
